SCAM PILOT PROGRAM 

 THE SUCCESS STORIES

It was a long way for the Scam Pilot Program -- initiated by State Representative Julio Robaina (R-Distr.117). He tried for many years to initiate such a program in order to reduce the fraud in our mandatory associations. And just when he thought he succeeded, former Governor Bush vetoed the budget item in 2006. But with the help of Miami-Dade State Attorney Katherine Fernández Rundle this program finally got of its feet in March 2007 -- and we can see the first success stories. A big Thank-You to all the people who helped getting this much needed program started!
